Welcome to Bear Falls Wilderness Camping, an eco-friendly campground owned and operated locally by the Shannon family. We are located on Canada's east coast near the picturesque town of Greenfield, Queens County, Nova Scotia. Our campground is incredibly beautiful, combining both pristine wilderness with easy accessibility. Covering 175 plus acres and over 2.9 kms of remote Medway River frontage, you'll experience nature at its finest here.

Ruth and Fred Hemeon invite you to a relaxing visit in their 7 fully housekeeping cottages, equipped with everything you would need, electric appliances, full stove, fridge, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and all the extras. TV, VCR, clock radios, books, games etc. It's a home away from home. On the grounds you may use paddle boats, bikes, river trail, playground games, inground heated swimming pool, picnic tables, fireplaces, laundry room. At the office, a convenience store, with liquor for guests only, movies etc. Off the grounds, you can use our canoes for a lovely scenic ride on the river or to fish. Nearby golfing, or visit beaches or local historic sites. Pets are welcome
Directions: When travelling from Halifax, first right turn past bridge in Clyde River, then travel 7 miles on the Upper Clyde Road to get to us. If travelling from Yarmouth, first left turn just before green bridge.
Rates: $85 - $105 nightly / $500 - $635 weekly / off season rates
